  2. You are truly amazing and it was wonderful to see Erin and meet our folks, Shirley & Norm. I love how they gave voice to their amazement at your adventuresome spirit with the twinkles in their eyes. Praying that God gives you new insights, new awareness of needs of the Guatemalan people but also new ways you can direct the team members into greater depths of Holy Spirit moving and Kingdom building/movement. I am beyond excited for the lay pastor training and hope for the purity of their calling to remain true to the Father. You are committed to such an intentional witness for Christ – I pray God uses you to encourage a lay pastor or two because you have such a gift of encouragement within you. Be blessed, friend, for you are such a blessing to others. Thank you for providing the opportunity for all of these individuals to be hands and feet and have an amazing week!

  4. To the family and friends of Team Allendale Christian, it appears the internet server at the base is not functioning. I can share that the team has arrived safely and doing well. The earthquake in western Guatemala did not cause any harm at their location.

This message was received from a staff member last night, “So far all is good! First building day was amazing? Today was stucco and it rained day but yet stopped so all the kids played games at the base once we got back. No one is sick, all are healthy!”

Today is home dedication day. It is the first of several days when people will be hear about Jesus’ love for them and have the opportunity to have a personal relationship with Him as their Lord and Savior. The team will continue to need our prayers over these next several days.

  5. Hey friend! Praying for your health specifically! Hoping the team is working well together as well. Miles prays for Aunt Julie each night too. Enough drama now…no more earthquakes and flu, but running into Christian celebrities is much better. Prayers will continue! Miss ya!

  7. We were so happy to have a little news this morning but then when I read about your dedication day I felt badly for you and your team! I hope that some of you were able to go and that many received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior!! The rainy weather sounds horrible! Many prayers are with you! We know the Lord will heal your bodies and keep you safe! May the medical clinics go very well the next two days!! We are doing fine!

  10. I’m so proud of you. You change the world one mission team at the time. You and this team have endured much. What I hear from the blogs is joy, amazement and love for God. That’s a resounding victory for Team Allendale. Having a nice family dinner today. I’m feeding the boys before they help me put the bathroom back together. See you Tuesday.
